Work At Home Vs. Corporate America

Why I like to work at home
Category: Jobs, Work, Careers

I worked in corporate America for two decades for "security"......it did not take long to realize there IS no security; and corporate America kind of reminds me of that famous saying "If you want a friend in Washington, D.C., buy a dog." I hate to sound cynical but I think the
deterioration of my health, which forced me into early retirement, was
a blessing. Of course I don't make that great big paycheck that feels so good at the end of the week. But I work in my pj's, I create websites and I sell my own products I make; I blog with fellow bloggers who want me to do well (and vice versa); we don't try to
knock each other down to brownose a boss, etc. No big gasoline bills.
If I sell $1000 worth of products at my store, it is the equivalent of
about 10k in a brick and mortar store. And all from my living room.
Now really when you think about it, its not a bad deal. And I get to be with my beloved family and dog whenever I want. Anyone else had that experience?
